Body Type Calculator for Women
The same wizard as the homepage, preset to the women's five-shape system so you skip straight to measurements.
Step 1 of 6
Which units do you measure in?
How it's calculated
The wizard's own default measurements (39" bust, 33" waist, 44" hips) work out to:
| Bust | 39" |
| Waist | 33" |
| Hips | 44" |
| Result | Pear / Triangle |
Hips are 11.4% larger than bust/shoulders, at or over the 5% pear threshold, with a defined waist.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the five shapes this calculator uses?
Hourglass, pear (also called triangle), inverted triangle, rectangle, and apple (also called round) -- the shape names most fashion and fitness guides use for women's proportions, plus an optional spoon variant of pear if you fill in the high hip measurement.
Do I need to know my measurements exactly, or can I estimate?
A close estimate works for a general read, but a result near a threshold (say, hips 4% larger than bust when the pear cutoff is 5%) can flip with a more careful re-measure. See the measurement guide if a result surprises you.
Can I use this for someone else's measurements?
Yes -- nothing is saved or tied to an account, so there's no reason it has to be your own numbers. Every calculation happens fresh in your browser each time you run it.
